I love David Benoit and can't wait to hear his latest release "Heroes". I do know that for this album he covered Michael Jackson's classic song "Human Nature".

My copy arrives tomorrow from Amazon. I heard the previews on Amazon and they sound great. This looks to be another winner from David Benoit.

I really like these arrangements.

I'm still a bit divided about "Human Nature." The piano work is lovely, it's a nice interpretation, but.... you know the drill.

We'll see if this is one of those that grows on me the more I hear it.

Okay, I've heard the whole album. Not only is it a winner, it is a grand slam! His covers are 1000x better than the original versions. Way to go, David...and also, David Hughes, Jamey Tate, Brad Dutz, Andy Suzuki, and the Asia America Symphony.

P.S. I prefer this "Heroes" over the namesake TV series. I'm sure some of you here would beg to differ, but I digress.

It's nice that Benoit has his touring band on the album with him. I've been listening to this for about a month now. I adore anything Benoit does...but I do hope that the covers rut we are in goes away soon.

This album is the only cover album worth getting.
