Well, he used to use a Selmer Mark IV I do believe in the early days, then he was using a Yamaha YAS-62 for altos. Last time I checked, we was using a Beechler Diamond Alto mouthpiece, for tenor an Otto Link 7* I think it is. He started using saxes made by L.A Sax as well. I haven't seen them in concert in a while so I'm not sure what he's currently using, but it's more than likely that it will be L.A Sax, Yamaha, and Selmer.

If you can believe his page here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jay_Beckenstein there is more information. Looks like current axes are La Sax for alto and tenor and a Keilworth soprano. I believe the alto model (LA SAX Chicago Jazz) was made for LA SAX by B&S of Germany (no longer making horns).

I am sure Jay has some "special" horns he does not play out with too.

I kinda thought that his Soprano was a Keilworth, but I thought that I was confusing him with Kirk Whalum, who also uses Kielworth.
