Happy B day from one Jay to another! The incomparable Mr Jay Beckenstein just turned the big Six oh (60 years old) on March 14th. I wish him the best of health and more glorious years to come. Keep it up man! As long as he is playing, I'll be listening.

Hail to Jay B!

Fact-check: Sorry Jay and Jazzwriter... Wikipedia and Jay`s own bio that pops up when ya google Jay Beckenstein has Jay Beckenstein being born on MAY 14, 1951- NOT March 14-as posted by lurker Jay. I am 90% sure I mentioned Jay`s birthday in the "New record...any news?" thread. Maybe the new record can be out by May, and Downbeat, Jazztimes, Jazziz-any periodicals still being published can do "Beckenstein at 60" features. This just gives us two months to do Jay`s 60th up RIGHT! Get the press releases out NOW!
