Green Bay Packers 17 @ Philadelphia Eagles 21
The Eagles know that the Packers are going to come after Vick so I expect them to utilize the run and screens to neutralize the Packers. Last week, the Eagles showed that they can run the ball.

Baltimore Ravens 14 @ Kansas City Chiefs 6
The Chiefs are coming into this match after being exposed by the Raiders as pretenders. Baltimore has improved their running game recently and can do pretty much the same things the Raiders did.

New York Jets 24 @ Indianapolis Colts 16
The Jets ended the season on a high note when they easily defeated the Bills. The Colts are still a scary team but I was not impressed by their edging out a win against the Titans. I expect the Colts to bring a four man rush with a lot of stunting. If Sanchez sees an extra man, I believe Keller will be open for a toss down the seam. The Colts are looking for and expecting the run.

New Orleans Saints 31 @ Seattle Seahawks 7
This is no contest.

I think Dom Capers defense will shut Vick down. Packers win in Philly.

Colts will win.

Agree with other picks.

Dom Capers' run defense has been mediocre at best. LeSean McCoy has ran the ball well and should be the x-factor for the Eagles. The Packers are all about stopping the pass.

Paul, I think the Steelers are the only AFC team that has a chance against New England. It should be a fun matchup, but Patriots still have an edge.
On the other side, it's hard for me to write off Green Bay or Chicago. The Falcons have won every game they're "supposed to" win and are pretty strong at home. But the Bears are a good team - period, and the Packers have played very well over the last several weeks.

Jazzwriter-thanks for anwering that particular question- I had not picked my "second favorites" in each conference at the time of my last post. Funny enough, in the interim I researched and decided that Pitt and the Packers were probably the teams that had half a chance to knock off the Pats and Falcs. And then, only if they play flawless turnover free football. My picks this weekend: The Pack 24-20. Saints 27-17. Ravens 17-14.Jets win 20-17. Gosh it is tough to pick against the Jets cuz when Sanchez is on and the Jets are on they are tough. I like Indy-but am not sure they have recovered enough from such an injury riddled season. IF Colts do win- it will be due to Manning and his receivers gettin into that zone that appears almost ESP-like. IF Indy does win-I want them to go deep into the playoffs

Ok I will drop in my two cents on the weekend. Well start with the easy one Saints win over Seatle 24-10 may not even be that close if the Saints don't get caught looking past this one. The Chiefs have made some great strides this season but a rough December. I like the Ravens 21-7. The Eagles do have that great running attact and if Vick is on his game he will be tough to handle. The Pac has shown they can play some pretty good D and Aaron Rogers is a force to be concerned about. Pack running game is not a good as it used to be and on that I like the Eagles 24-21. I like the Colts over the Jets, big suprise huh. I might have gone the other way five weeks ago. But the Colts have just gone though what amounts to a four game playoff. Four games that were all must win and they won the all. Did not blow anyone away, but they won none the less. They did it by discovering their own running game and at the same time stopping some pretty good running backs cold. What they have had to overcome with all all the injuries and having to win those four games just to get in, has I think made them better prepared they all those years that they had it wrapped up early and gave away games at the end. Won't be easy, but Colts 24-21.

DaveS it is no surprise-you picking Indy. But the pick is not one born of blind loyalty. When you think about it, what the Colts did was impressive-showed tough character-winning out with their backs to the wall. That they did so with an injury riddled club at key positions makes it more so. Maybe I`m regretting picking the Jets-I AM picking against Manning at home and that`s not a good bet the farm bet. I think it will come down-for each team-commiting to establishing the run or at least showing the threat of it. That will give either/both Sanchez and Manning that extra second or two to take apart the coverage. Then you might say the same for the other 3 games, huh?

Well none of us saw that one coming, did we? Good for the USC connection! Pete Carroll-in his first year-makes it to the playoffs AND defeats the world champions! Seattle`s 12th man helped out immensely. I can`t shake the thought that there is something wrong with a playoff set-up that allows a 7-9 team to host a 10-6 team though.
