Well with what the Bengals did to them yesterday, it may be that they are not fully awake yet. Who would have thought that the Charger's season would have unfolded like it did. And with the Chiefs improvement not to mention the Raiders they are going to find a real battle in the west over the next few yesrs.

Got my car rental and hotel reservations done today and CBS was nice enough to move the game to 4:00 so this old guy does not have to get up so early on Sunday. Sure was nice the network to move the game for little old me grin. Actually I was expecting NBC to steal the game as a flex game for Sunday night.

Speaking for myself, I don't see a game between the Colts and Titans as a primetime event. You might see Jeff Fisher coach his last game for the Titans.

Well it is the only game that involves a team looking to get in to the playoffs. So thought they might opt for that over what is the scheduled game St. Louis vs Seatle. For myself the 4:00 game is just right. Over early enough for the wife and I to enjoy the downtown and bit and late enough so I don't have to get up at 5 AM to get there on time.

Watching a game between two NFC West teams is a ratings failure!

Greenbay versus Chicago is more interesting. Would Chicago play hard to keep their rival out? Personally, I think the Packers are better than the Bears at this point. Aaron Rodgers and the Packers D is peaking at just the right time! Chicago's D is looking suspect.

If I were Jeff Fisher, I would try my best to plan a beat down on the Colts in hope of saving my job. Look at how the Bungles got up for the Chargers. Titans can do the same thing.

Yeah, Fish is on his way out. But I doubt he'll be unemployed for long.
Speaking of network coverage, CBS had regional games on yesterday, so I was certain our station would show Titans-Chiefs. Pretty much every other week of the season, we get one of the AFC South teams (Texans-Jaguars one week) unless the marquee game involves the Patriots or Steelers. But our traffic coordinator, not a football fan, picked Jets-Bears. It was a good game in terms of the competitiveness, but I wonder about both teams considering the final score.

Nation of Wussies?

Why was the game delayed because of snow? I went to college in Buffalo and don't ever recall a Bills game at Orchard Park ever being cancelled.

The game was delayed a few days so Favre could heel up and play in another final game on "MNF". The league certainly bows down to him in that regard. I'm still waiting for them to slap him with his suspension AFTER he retires this year. DOH!! Roger Goodell is sort of embarrassing insulting the fan's intelligence.

I have much respect for Mark Sanchez. He did all he could but his bonehead coach let him down. The fake punt that failed miserably when they had all the momentum was the game changer. Rex Ryan ego/lack of experience hurts that team.

I expect the Packers to give the Bears a pretty good beating Sunday. While the Packers are very one-dimensional with no running game, the Bears secondary is the weak link and Rodgers should have a huge day, especially in Green Bay.

Assuming this scenario plays out, the two teams should meet again a week later at Soldier Field (Chicago) where I think the Bears will find a way to beat them as they did back in Sept.

True dat. Somebody published a poll saying out of the people who predicted tonight's game, Mississippi, Louisiana and Alabama were the only states that chose the Saints.
Go figure.

Well yeah but then again they do not play college ball at the end of December either. Did you see all the snow in Philly? That was a lot of snow in a very short period of time to get rid of. They said it had a lot to due with fan safety as much as playing the game itself. Leave a bunch of snow in the stands and someone falls and the eagles you would see most would be of the legal variety.

The good people of the Buffalo area are used to getting huge amounts of snow in short periods of time on a yearly basis. Other parts of the country storms like we saw last week come once every 10 years or so.
