33-20 - Amazing the things that can happen when you don't give the ball away (repeatedly), don't commit 10 penalties, play a little defense and block for your runners.

Buffalo won their game too -- 14-12. I can guarantee they didn't pop champagne in Tonawanda, NY!

Dallas is still a bad squad. The Giants probably didn't take their preparation seriously last week.

Oh really? This is the NFL not high school. The Cowboys outplayed them plain and simple. I would think it was more a case of the Cowboys actually being better prepared and wanting and lord knows needing the win more. They have talent but have been wasting a lot of it this year.

Oh and like I said mid season coaching changes never make much difference. grin Guess that explains why I am not employed by any NFL teams.

Did you guys get to see the Colts-Bengals game? What was with T.O. at the end? First he gives up on a route and then is slowing walking back to the line when he knows the team as no times outs and the clock is running down! Meanwhile Chad Ochcosinco is making diving attempts and some cases great catches while in some real pain from an earlier injury. Strange behavior on Owens part considering they still had a shot at winning the game.

In all fairness, the Giants weren't sharp in much the same way I felt the Cowboys lost some of those early games due to not being sharp. Manning had time for most of the game because, while the Dallas defense did show up for a change, the pass rush was almost non-existent. I kept waiting for Eli to take advantage of that, and he didn't.
It was good to see some pass protection for Kitna. But again, how much of that was Dallas going all out, and how much of it was the Giants underestimating them?
Until further notice, the Cowboys are still a mess. However, seeing them play a complete game and being aggressive without committing a lot of stupid penalties, if nothing else, that gives hope of being able to watch them again without needing a bottle of Bromo Seltzer.

Every team in the NFL has talent! The Detroit Lions have enough talent to beat the Cowboys. The Cowboys probably hit the clubs in NYC after the victory.

T.O. is like so many other jaded NFL WRs, they expect the ball to come to them. However, the winners in the NFL go to the ball. If the Bengals had any toughness, they would have taken Peyton's balls from him instead of letting theirs be taken by the impotent Colts defense.

Oh this game could have easily gone in the other direction. The Giants basically played the way Dallas had been playing. Interceptions, turnovers and really bad penalties at the wrong possible moments! And they still came back to make the game respectable! The Giants should have zeroed in on Des Bryant and took him out of the equation. Piss poor preparation in my opinion!

Mark my words, I'm gonna get you!

Broncos 49 Chiefs 29

Why is Haley so upset at McDaniels? McDaniels put in Tebow for the second half and the Chiefs still couldn't do anything. When the Raiders put it on the Broncos a few weeks back, McDaniels shook Cable's hand.

Professionals are paid to perform!

What's his beef? It is not like the score was 88-0. Even if it were do you tell the second and third team guys they can't score because they might hurt the feelings of the opposing teams. This is pro ball guys if you get you butt kicked, you probably had it coming for the way you played.

I don't get it, either.
The standard answer for teams running up the score: "If you don't want to get embarrassed, stop us!"
Speaking of: I just checked in on that Eagles-Redskins game.
Wow! 52-21, and they were in the 3rd quarter.
The Eagles may be the best team in the league right now.

I don't know about calling the Eagles the best team in the NFL but they are in contention. The Redskins defense was not ready for Mike Vick who gets my vote for MVP. Even Wade Phillips knows not to let D. Jax get behind the defense. The Eagles have great receivers. I don't understand why the Skins released Devin Thomas and kept 38 year old Joey Galloway.

After watching Tom Brady pick apart the Steelers top-rated defense, I would say the Patriots are in the conversation. Tom Brady is still my favorite QB.
