I know one thing, this is the first season in some time I have some high expections for my Pacers'. The addition of Hill and West and the growth of the young talent should make this team fun to watch. Not ready to run with the Lakers or Heat or Celtics but a strong finish in the east is indeed possible. Only fitting is this year of dismay with the Colts that the Pacers should finally come of age.

Clippers 114 Lakers 95

It's not going to be a good year for Kobe with his wife leaving him and his team starting a rebuild. I know it's the pre-season but it is still good to see the Lakers get beaten. The Lakers should have tried to bargain more fairly instead of trying to use the Hornets to unload aging players with big salaries.

I wonder what they are saying at the Lakers forum!
