Hendrix-solo on his cover of Dylan`s All Along The Watchtower-lyrical and technical- whew! Van Halen-Eruption

Ummm I listed Joe Sats "Bells of Lal" as one of my faves and there are more I may list. Dude is technical but has that wow-look at how great my chops are syndrome that limits Vai, Malmsteen and others. To a large point their creative mind never matched the technical speed of light playing. Page.Beck, Clapton, Hendrix, Winter. Montrose. Metheny- their minds and creativity never became slaves to their own virtuosity the way the "shredders" have.

I found some performance videos, but either the images are pretty crappy or they're not the original band. One performance at Giants Stadium was pretty close to the recording, but the video, apart from having an annoying countdown at the top and a logo of some kind in the middle, flipped back and forth from brownscreen to full color.

Johnny Winter from "Captured Live"- Lead solo on SIDE ONE opener Boni Moroni-mind blowing. From same record- SIDE TWO opener Dylan`s Highway 61 Revisted-the slide guitar solo to end all slide guitar solos.
