We are getting complaints about the "tone" of the board and the general unfriendly atmosphere which is primarily relegated to posts and threads in "Off-Topic".

However, boarders are complaining that they feel attacked and belittled in the music forums as well.

Please remember - this is a music board - with an "Off-Topic" forum for general topics.

Moving forward, if we see consistent thread volleying occurring - we will send you a PM about the volleys. Most have not been productive and are extremely circular - resulting in the loss of less active posters on the board.

Yes I agree— and after numerous complaints, have decided to remove the 2 political topics, as they really have no place on Magic Island, which has always >been about music and musicians.

The whole concept of Magic Island (as shown by the name!) has been for it to be a good-vibe place where people can share their enthusiasm about the music they love.
