Christian McBride -"Kind of Brown"
Herbie Hancock -"The Joanie Letters"
Caribbean Jazz Project - "Here and Now-Live"
Pat Metheny - "Orchestrion"

The Metheny release has really grown on me. This project has certainly solified him as one of the greatest musial composers in the last 50 years.

The Dixon-Rhyne Project - Reinvention

Rob Dixon - sax
Melvin Rhyne - organ and Mini Moog
Fareed Haque - guitar
Kenny Phelps - drums

This is one very interesting CD! Melodically and harmonically it is most definately jazz; however, rhythmically it is all backbeat/funky. I bought it at Amazon.com. Check it out if that type of thing appeals to you. Peace and goodwill.
