My wife's step father died a couple of years ago. His name was Alonzo Alonzo and he usually was known as "Double A". He was a well known drummer in Texas and he played with several jazz and rock groups. Supposedly, he laid several tracks with Spyro Gyra, possibly on Morning Dance. I am having a hard time finding credits on Spyro Gyra albums and would appreciate any help in documenting his career. Thank you.

Moving this to the Spyro Gyra Board to see if anyone can help this member out.

Tom Schuman reads these boards pretty regularly. He probably can answer that better than we can.
I suppose it's possible that Double A sat in session with them during the early years, as they had several "guest" musicians. But his name does not appear among the personnel credits. Maybe his take wasn't used in the release.
