I understand that you may not like the Colts for whatever reasons you have. But I still question the logic of calling this team a fraud with winning streak of 19 in a row and more wins in this decade then any other team in the league. Ok we have just the single Super Bowl win, New England has three. I will give you that and I take nothing away from the Pats. Hate them with a passion, but that comes out of a great deal of respect for them as well. But you keep singing the praises of Eagles and the Vikings and just how many Super Bowls have they won in this decade?

As for the Cowboys, it has not been a banner year but yet here they sit at 8-3 on top of the NFC East. Somehow getting it done. You can find fault on how they got to where they are but in the end one thing does remain, both the Colts and Cowboys are sitting in first place in their respective divisions and in the case of the Colts they are still unbeaten. Slice it dice it or spin it any way you want, they are still 10-0.

I just might have do some research on that jersey thing though. I do know there a whole bunch of people in south and midwest who have named their kids after him. University of Tennessee publishes a list each year and it just keeps getting bigger. Oh and one of them is a grandchild of mine.

I question the logic of saying the Colts have a 19 game winning streak when their 9 game winning streak of 2008 was ended by the San Diego Chargers. Thus, the Colts were eliminated from qualification for a second Lombardi trophy in the Peyton Manning era. Of course, no one can reasonably say that they are not a good team. They are just not all that and a bag of chips.

The Patriots have a 3-1 Super Bowl record with Brady. The Steelers have a 2-0 record with Rothlisberger in the same era. Why not cheer for the Vikings or Eagles?

The only person who I've seen wearing a Peyton Manning jersey is Jeff Fisher.

I take it you haven't seen Peyton Manning.

Sorry, couldn't resist.

There is nothing wrong with cheering the Vikings or The Eagles. I was just following your logic. The lack of Super Bowl wins or at least as many as New England makes the Colts a fraud and therefore not worth considering. I am just extending that to everyone who has failed to win as many Super Bowls as New England. Thus it would follow that the entire NFL is nothing more then a collection of frauds. Makes you wonder why anybody out side of New England even bothers to show up on Sunday.....well at least the Browns have bought into this theory and are doing their part.

DaveS, you're making too many assumptions! You're following you own flawed logic because it certainly isn't mine. The Colts have been a very good team during the Peyton Manning era. They just have not won as many Lombardi's as the Patriots and the Steelers.

If I were to use your streak logic, the Colts would need to win 3 more games to surpass the current record holder, the NE Patriots.

and you are assuming that I am actually taking any of this or you seriously...come now I am just having some fun. My aging old body tends to give me a new ache or pain every day, but they say laughter is best medicine. You know my daily stops here make me feel a bit better every day!

Go Colts!

It should be a good game, and that's what counts above all.

Well, it was a good game. I think it just became lopsided.
