Everything will be fine.... Austen is doing great. Your "boys" will have bonding time together.... but it shows how much they love you, because they want you to see the Ripps - and do the Rico dance.

I will do it with you and together, we will defy the Jazz Police.

yes. that was the phrase of the night, along with "slap that bass".

I'm too exhausted to even write about it.... but it was a joy, all the energy and happiness and great music. This is what live music is supposed to be about.... excited audiences, standing ovations and sold out shows.

Let It Ripp!

...and corn pizza and brownies, and meeting up with "The Lurker" and his Mrs. (hope you enjoyed the rest of your stay - told ya that Scullers was the best!), and the Queen and her royal court, and #50 & #86, and Martinis (or wine will do), and I finally got to eat in the north end, and great photos (can't wait to see them), and Myantology and sheep (or goats - whatever floats your boat), and doin' the Rico, and GREAT music and energy... I missed my fam, but everything else was perfect - a great way to catch my breath after a rough week. Thanks from Austen for all of your good wishes - we hope to have "doin' the Rico" ASAP! Happy Thanksgiving to all! I am, as always, very thankful for The Rippingtons! : )

Kat, and Golfwidow,

Thank you for letting me spend some time with you in Boston! Though I completely missed the shows on Thursday (due to the FAA computer glitches), with these "sisters" aside, I truly enjoyed the shows on Friday.

Yes! Both shows exploded with positive energy!! The guys too seemed excited with a great reaction from the audience: Russ's guitar solo in Santa Fe Trail seriously gave me goosebumps, and solos by Eric and Billy in Eric's number(sorry for my ignorance, but somebody, please fill the title!) was sooo hot, and a collaboration of performance by Dave and Rico in Body Art was super-tight and -cool...just phenomenal.

It is sad to say that this year's tour is almost over (tonight in Buffalo is the last one, I believe): however, I will definitely catch these guys on the road again next year...

I would also like to thank all the Rippingtons for making me feel like my agonizing 4-hour desperation at the airport finally paid off in Boston. It was REALLY fun!!

Well, but one thing I want to say here: I'll make it to Scullers ON TIME next year!

Cheers,
Mayumi
