Just back from Washington and Dianne Grainger's funeral at the Shiloh Baptist Church . A Somewhat harrowing experiance but one filled with great spirituality and a real sense of closure . You could cut the love in that room with a knife.

To the Grainger family and to Fred, my deepest condolences. I haven't been on the boards in a while, so I just found out your terribly sad news. You'll all be in my prayers.

The band mentioned last night during the Birchmere show that they would be playing at the Blair Mansion on Tuesday night in a fundraiser for the Dianne Grainger Scholarship Fund. If anyone reading this post is in the Baltimore/Washington vicinity, you should head up to the Blair in Silver Spring, MD. It's for a good cause, and I'm sure the music will be outstanding.
