It's really bad news for the Colts because they have to face the very violent Titans two times.

Well, the Dallas defense doesn't seem to have improved any. Offensively, though, 20 rushes and 27 passes, so it's a fair mix in terms of play selection, but 26 minutes to Tampa Bay's almost 34 isn't good. Need T.O.? TD plays of 40 yards or more to 3 different receivers: Williams (66), Austin (42) and Crayton (80). So it was a positive display for one game. Now the bad news: Giants next week. As I type this, the Giants defense is manhandling Washington.

Dallas didn't look that good to me. The Bucs looked like they were lacking experience and talent in the secondary, except for Orunde Barber. The Eagles are the best team in the NFC east.

For now. I really like the Giants defense, but the offense still has issues. A bit of poetic justice: Orton gets lucky while Green Bay makes Cutler look like he belongs in junior high.

Well, Jerry Jones is an idiot if he honestly believes a new house will make his boys better. I think that game more than any previous performance exposes Romo as either a QB who's only average at best or a complete idiot. I often question Jason Garrett's play selection, and last night was no different. But the balance was there: 29 runs and 29 passes. The runs were successful (250 yards), but negated by 3 INTs that led to Giants TDs. On the other hand, the defense played well (compared to what they usually do) but there was absolutely no pass rush. People knock Eli because he's not as good as Peyton, but the guy is a gamer. Give him 2 minutes and a chance, he'll take care of business. Oh, and this blows the myth that they'll suffer without Plaxico Burress. Kudos to Coughlin and the gang. I think it was Madden who said it best: Good teams win ugly. Speaking of the Colts, what an interesting contest tonight, eh? Amazing.

Without T.O. in the Cowboy offense, the Giants didn't have to expend defensive resources on one man. Tony Romo and Jason Garrett thought they could win games without one of the best route runners in the game. Romo is an average quaterback at best.
Miami needed to put more pressure on Corky Thatcher! At least, Corky comes through in the end. He's the clutch player that Romo needs to be like.
