Well some teams know how to close out a game and others are still learning. How many teams can be down 17-0 and you still feel and know that they will come back? The may be a one trick pony....but so far no one can figure out the trick.

Here's a hint it begins with M and ends with g! grin

I'm hoping they, i.e, the Titans, continue their winning streak after losing 6 consecutive games. What they have done is more impressive than coming back from a 17 point deficit against a team that lacks the killer instinct. The Texans had them on the hook and let them off.

If the Titans were to lose to the OTPs, the Colts would pull to within a whole step of the NE Patriots in terms of accomplishments. The Colts would need to win two consecutive Super Bowls to at least match the NE Patriots.

Brett Favre is clearly this years MVP!

I will agree with you on a couple of points. The first of which is that I am very impressed with what the Titans have done and way that Vince Young seems to have found himself and grown up. They are doing well, can't help but wonder if they would have won at Arizona if the the Cardinals had their top quarterback in the game. But that is one of could have been type of issues. Titans did win the game and that is what counts.

Not sure if I am ready to agree that the six game streak outdoes the Colts 20 win streak at this point. But they have done well especially when after those loses to the Colts the first time around and then beating from New England almost everyone had them written off. Now they have themselves in the wild card hunt. A nice job by the team as whole.

You do never cease to amaze me though. First you were trying to tell us the Texans would have there way with the Colts and now you claim they do not have a killer instinct. They have had trouble closing out games, which as we all know the Colts have done rather well at. But give the Colts defense some credit for creating two turnovers in the closing minutes to put the game on ice. The same thing happened in the game in Houston last year as well.

I would prefer to see them do away with some of the weekly drama and grab an early lead and sit on, but to come from behind not just in this game but in five straight games is no small thing.

I am also willing to concede the edge to the Pats for having won the 3 Super Bowls. But having said that this Colt team is a very good football team. In fact it has been a very good football team for a very long time.

As for the MVP...I am not so sure it is all that clear cut. A good case can be make for Farve for the year he is having, but Manning has done what he has done with a team that has has been patched together on both offense and defense. Let's not rull Drew Brese out of the picture either. Look at the way he has completley turned the Saints around. Let's see how this plays out over the next few weeks and see who is MVP. Could be Farve...but could be one of the other guys as well.

How about this, if the Titan run the table and win their last five do you throw Vince Young into the mix. The team is 0-6 before Young if they go 10-0 with him should he be a factor?

Oh really? It did not quite happen as you thought. The fleur-de-lis is a symbol of the royal house of France. Coach B. looked pretty bummed out during most of the second half. Go Sants!

Congrats, Mark. A rout like this has to be humbling to PatriotsNation.
The thing is, with the Vikings 10-1, the Saints can't afford to let down if they want the home field. The schedule looks fairly promising, except for the Cowboys, and even there, the Saints match up pretty well.
It'll be an interesting next 5 weeks.

Favre is playing great but there is incredicble talent all around him.

Brees is also playing great but it is the Saints defense which is the difference maker this year.

If the season ended today Manning is the MVP up to this point this year but things could change over the next 5 weeks.

Which one of Drew Brees' passes did you catch? Nothing is worse than a fair-weather fan that comes in after the fact to gloat. Where was your before the game comment in regards to the outcome of the game?

I admit that NE's defense was not up to the task of stopping the Saints. NO is better than I thought and Sean Payton play calling was a step ahead of Belichick's defense. NE's defense is not enough to stop a good passer. The Vikings match up pretty well against the Saints because of Jared Allen's speed around the edges.

The Saints aren't as one dimensional as the Colts are!

The choice is between Favre and Brees for MVP. My choice is Brett Favre.

I think Chris Johnson (Titans) must also be considered. He may be a larger factor than Vince Young in the Titans success. He's averaging 6.4 yards a carry and on pace for 2,000 yards. Unlike Adrian Peterson, he is unstoppable.

Chris Johnson is without a doubt the best RB in the NFL so far. AP fumbles too much.
