If you think they are the same, Mitt Romney's plan was a disaster? What does that tell you?

But I don't necessarily see the hiprocracy. There are similarities but they are not the same. It is entirely constitutional for public health care options to be experimented with at a State level. It is NOT within the Federal Government's Constitutional limitations for them to experiment with national health care.

You need to update your information because it says you are from IL. How can you speak about the medical care in that state?

Also, you provide no proof of your statements about the constitution. In fact, you couldn't be more wrong. This sounds like an APOLOGY and EXCUSE for Mitt's hypocrisy.

(Kat...are you watching Ars pick another fight here? No surprised he was banned 2-3 times in the past)

Ars...What is YOUR opinion of whether that program is working or not and the current financial state of MA?

"EXPERIMENTAL" and to be tweaked accordingly was the intention. Not a national mandate, fines for not participating, etc.

I'm not a resident of MA so I can't speak personally on Mitt's plan. I am just wondering why Mitt changed his mind. I recalled him saying that his plan would be good for the whole country in an NPR piece.

SH, you make too many wrong assumptions and unfounded assertions.

OK... pass the popcorn.

I think it's time to close this thread because it just is going in rhetorical circles.

If anyone cares to open a 2010 discussion.... please follow the board rules.

Thanks
