Suggestion, allegation, innuendo obviously carry weight for those that accentuate the(suggested)negative. We should not be afraid to talk about those things or else some will forget that speculation is not fact.

TWENTY PER CENT OF HIS ESTATE EVERY YEAR TO CHARITY.

I didn't watch the memorial because I knew there would be a thousand replays and recaps for the rest of the night and into the following day. I saw bits and pieces of it at work on various TV's though. From what I saw, it was very well done, and extremely emotional. Kudos to the organizers who put it together so quickly, and so correctly.

reportedly 31 million people watched it on TV in the US, I haven't seen numbers for Internet stream...

So the speculation continues... but I am looking forward to the "weird news" which will emerge later this year. Yes, that's right. I'm predicting cloning from the brain tissue which is not with his body.... read on.

Was Michael in the Casket?

I'm expecting to hear about-it- on TMZ. Or this weekend-seeing the headlines while I am in the checkout line.
But Kat, you can bet this is gonna make post death Elvis sightings look like Father Knows Best!

If they do decide to bury him and not cremate him, I hope the site remains private, and I hope the crazies will let him rest in peace. Can you imagine people running around LA trying to find and dig up MJ's grave?

Kat...I was saying that all along about his body not actually being in that casket at the memorial, but several friends on Facebook said I was wrong and that the family would not "cheat" the fans that way. Maybe they wanted privacy? They are entitled to it...and he is entitled to RIP.

Caskets are symbolic anyhow....at least to me. I think he is or will be cremated.... maybe there will be a memorial place, like for Marilyn Monroe. (After Monroe's death, DiMaggio claimed her body and arranged her funeral. For 20 years, he had a half-dozen red roses delivered to her crypt three times a week. Little known is that DiMaggio asked her to remarry him 4 days before her death in 1962... an intervention of sorts.)

There was some really bizarre commentary on CNN the other day after the service. Whoever it was, someone claiming to be a friend of the family, suggested that the remaining Jackson brothers go on tour, and suggesting that someone like Usher step in for MJ. "People want to see the family." is how he justified his statement. I thought it was weird and totally inappropriate to talk about some kind of reunion tour. Very strange indeed.

I think Michael Beardon, the band, and the dancers held up really well. I don't think I could have played or sang. The remarkable part is that for the songs that were played in the memorial, they used the arrangements and the video backdrops that would have been used in the London show.

The following was the part of the memorial that broke my heart. look at the children and how they hugged each other, and little Blanket in the middle. Right after this, Paris spoke about her Daddy.







How could anyone even presume to try and split these kids up? I know Debbie Rowe wants to keep Joe Jackson away with a restraining order - he seems out of it, like there's some sort of dementia or medical problem. I don't think anyone takes him seriously anymore - maybe they should have years ago.

Perhaps I missed it but was there a reason one of Michael's brothers or sisters wouldn't take the children versus a family friend?
