How would you rate the KORG? I've been looking for a decent Keyboard to use instead of a electric piano.

No worries. I'm going to wait until the last day or so to bid. I mean to be completely honest, I've listened to Tom for years and have love every synth that he's had. I wanted one but didn't know what to get, but the Prophecy should be great. But we'll find out.

Thanks for stoppin by. Thanks for being a quality human being. Oh and that other stuff like the top notch composing, and mind blowin musicianship as well. I'am gonna pass-ON- your head start-that shoulda been HEADS UP, right? Two of my pals play keys in Yes + Genesis tribute bands-they are always on the hunt to upgrade!

Mr. Incognito: The Prophecy is a very versatile keyboard in terms of grooves, loops and midi capabilities. If you're looking for a performing keyboard and like Korgs, i suggest that you go and try the Korg X50. It delivers all the loops and grooves but also great strings ans brass sounds. Another nice keboard is the Casio Privia....Yes...CASIO!! It's a workhorse with a nice price tag and weighted keys. Anyway....as someone told me....you have to know which are your needs so you can pick your gear!!!

Hope this helps!!

Hi Mr. Incognito (nice name),

Sorry it took so long to respond. I just got back from Philadelphia.

The Prophecy is a digital 3 octave monophonic soloing synth that I used to replace my MultiMoog. The Moog gave me lots of problems in certain venues when radio frequencies would take over the voltage controlled oscillators. So I was looking for something more solid and I found the Prophecy to be more than just a replacement for an old analog synth. I has been a solo sound creation device that has no boundries if you learn how to edit the programs and effects. It has a plethora of internal sounds that are really fun to articulate with the added wheel/ribbon controller. Joe Zawinul had one and used it to trigger many other polyphonic synth mods with it. He was the one that sold me on it 10 years ago. I am not using it these days because of how much I have had to whittle down my setup (2 tiers only). I hope someone out there can!

''Plethora''?!?! I've always loved that word. Would make a good title to a song-or record with alot of left turns .
Or- ''Good Ol Shoe'' an homage to ''Wag the Dog''. Of course, SHOE could be spelled SCHUUU!
Ya already did ''Serpentine Shelly'' as an homage to ''The In-Laws''! (By the by-that songs riff works when you sync it up with Vince and Shelly's serpentine-ing!
Peace.

May I also suggest that Schuuu ship it with it set on the ''Incognito'' patch? And of course, that great autograph with the piano/synth key motiff.
Heading home from work. Will view third to last performance on the North Sea Jazz Festival to celebrate for Mr. INCOGNITO!

NEXT SONG TO TRANSCRIBE::::
:::INCOGNITO!!!!

I've actually been trying to play it for some time, but I can't get as high as Jay with a Tenor.

But I'll try the North Sea Jazz Fest Version! Now THAT ONE I can do!
