According to a press release obtained from the Peak Records' Web site, Heller is indeed playing an actual accordion. Not a keyboard patch, per se.

I just pre-ordered "Modern Art" on Amazon.
And thanks for the info, Eric. I had no idea Bill played accordion. Now, I know.

"Modern Art" was just one of my pre-orders. Among the rest was Jeff Kashiwa's new solo album.

I'm wondering if those of us going on the upcoming cruise will not only get treated to a few cuts off of "Modern Art", but also as a great perk, maybe even we'll be provided a complimentary copy.....

For what it's worth, the name of the track on the import version of "Modern Art" is "Night Vision."

I wonder if Russ can make it a download if you show proof of purchase for buying the album?

I'd love to hear this added track, and it's vibe.

Hi, haven't been on the forum for so long. Glad to be back.

Was excited to see the Ripps bringing out a new album, especially with Jeff on sax, yes! Love his playing. Bit of a shock to find no Kim Stone though. That's how long it has been since I've been into the Ripps site. (Shame on me!!)

Looking forward to the cd. So far, love what I've heard.

We were robbed late last year, and they took my Ripps dvd, so I'll have to somehow retrieve this back again.
