One more gig and The Lads have wrapped up 2008, another wonderful year of AA music. Oh, to be in London…

She Speaks American English – guilty as charged! At the Kuumbwa meet & greet October 9, I introduced friends Linda and Marv as we handed over copies of VBO vol 2 for signing. Mr. C quite politely asked, “Marv?” Yes indeed, I ended up having to spell the name. Oh…and also…Linda with an “i” not “y.” My friends were so impressed by the band’s performance that night, as was I! The Kuumbwa venue is casual, warm and intimate, do get there if you ever have the chance.

Friday October 10, with my sister in tow, experienced the Terry Disley Experience in San Francisco at the stunning restaurant & lounge, Shanghai 1930. What a lovely evening, two great long sets - the excellent food & libations were a bonus. Thank you, Terry!

Caught The Lads again, this time at Yoshi’s, on October 11 (with my sis again) & October 12 (with fellow fan Paula, all the way from NY). Also fun to visit a bit with fellow boarder Gene. Yoshi’s is more theater than lounge, beautiful nonetheless, with AA sets to match.

Feel incredibly fortunate to have had the opportunity to see so many performances this year. THANK YOU, AA, you are amazing!
