Just kidding, I don't work for the University of Phoenix.

Here's my favorite utube video -- watch it regularly it seems.

Brad Delph at his best....

Everything's right, except this video shows a capital "S". I think somebody did it for a joke. The original Sesame Street spot shows them working on the letter "I".

I know, I was making a joke about the University of Phoenix in pretending to be a professor at that university, while not "getting" there was a huge spelling error in the video (by the way, notice how I spelled 'spelt' too).

Guess I'm the only one who thinks the University of Phoenix is a bit of a diploma mill....

Hi, I think I forgot to mention that I upgraded the forum a while back and made it super easy to embed YouTube, MySpace, Yahoo & Google videos into your posts.

When you create a post or reply. Just look for the button that looks like a TV monitor (see images below), and then select the type of video then paste in your link.

Anyway I thought I would mention that. smile

Tony

Since I mentioned this guy in another thread:
Al Stewart
Year of the Cat (live)
On the Border

And one of the most beautifully written and performed songs of all time IMO:
Time Passages (1988)

I think Peter White, our cjazz friend played a strong role in the Year of the Cat or Time Passages as a guitarist and member of Al Stewart's band....the guitar solos were great.

Yes, he did. In fact, I believe that's Peter in the On the Border video.

My second successful upload:
Interview with Michael Winslow

Please forgive the poor framing. This is the result of two forces working against me. One being a camera without a monitor. To see what I'm shooting, I have to look through the viewfinder from behind the camera - impossible, considering I'm up on the stage with Michael, about 6 feet in front of the camera. I pre-positioned it to frame the shot, but the woman in the video, Tracy, was modeling for me, and I asked her to use her ID badge to mark the spot where she was standing, to indicate where I should stand. She moved it, so I had to guess. The other being that without Michael in the frame when I first lined up the shot, I was unsure of how tight to zoom in.
The bad framing could have been compensated for if the shot were in tighter on his head and shoulders. Notice, there's a couple of points where either Tracy or Michael's assistant repositioned the camera to make sure his head wasn't cut off.
In hindsight, I should have gone with my gut and went handheld. That's what I normally do if I'm just trying to get a sound byte from a police spokesman, fire investigator or public official. But it's generally better to use a tripod for a longer interview.
Still, I enjoyed meeting him. And I must tell you, the performance was exceptional.

Some of you may remember several months ago I posted my first You Tube video (a video I made a few days after my first solo with a video camera). I was just checking it out to share with a friend whom I haven't talked to in close to a year, and I came across this:
Joel Rosenblatt clinic at Moscow
Odd to find that as a "related video" in the rundown where everything else was about Greenville.

I shot this this several months ago but just now managed to move it to a computer where I could upload it.
