Dave can be found playing on various tours. He is also a webmaster (check out Shilts' site).

I heard Ramon sat in with the Ripps recently.

Scott has been touring and the last I heard he was touring with Jose Feliciano again.

And as long as the question is open, what about these folks?

Steve Reid...
his history (just the first part, there's another Steve Reid in jazz)
However, it doesn't say what he's up to now, and I'm not sure he's touring with the Ripps at the moment, haven't checked.

Brandon Fields... Fields homepage
Barry Manilow.....at least it's a steady gig without much travel, I guess.

Mark Portmann...
Mark Portmann's site

OK, last news blog there was 2003. Lately??

Dave Kochanski
Most web searches just brought up Black Diamond and cd universe, nothing recent.

I always find it interesting, how several of the earlier Ripps members and guests have gone on to successful careers- too bad I could never get in the band laugh

Isn't Kochanski hanging with Jeff Kashiwa? He's also bandleader for the AI tour. I think Portmann is doing a ton of songwriting and producing. Surprisingly, he works a lot in the Latin field.

Dave Hooper has been playing with several bands - I saw him and Steve Reid with Keiko Matsui in April.

Ramon Yslas played with the Ripps at the Wave Jazzfest at Newport Beach, CA in mid-May.

I haven't seen Scott Breadman since 2006, right before the Anniversary tour began with Steve taking over percussion.

I loved when Brandon Fields was doing stuff for The Rippingtons (not as much as Jeff and Eric, though). His work was just stellar. Last I heard he was with Dave Weckl's band...I think.

That was a while back. I believe Dave Weckl is using Gary Meek on sax.
