I like to think of the vocals on this CD in the same way that I think about the vocal selections from the Ripps' Live in LA video... quite a time machine! And it shows that if the band really wanted to... they could have been the perfect pop band. We are lucky indeed for all the years of great music. I think I'm gonna pull out the Graffiti video and take a walk down memory lane. or maybe I should work on my photos from the other night? They sounded so great.... it was my friend's first Spyro Gyra show ever, and she loved it. Quote from Tom which made us both smile.... True story: I was sitting in the studio with my ex-wife once and she and Billy Cliff were working on a song written by Scott Kreitzer and this dude could not find a harmony note to sing in conjunction with my ex. I was singing it in the control booth and the songwriter looks at me and tells me to sing the note to him! He just could not hear it! I was totally surprised when I heard him singing on that Spyro Gyra cut! Believe me if it wasn't for Scott Kreitzer's connection, he wouldn't have been on the cd!
