I couldn't find the old thread under this heading, so I started a new one to announce:
The Bad Plus is scheduled to be on Late Night with Conan O'Brien on Friday, March 14th.

For newer members who weren't around when the last topic was active, this is a place where we comment on jazz when we hear it from unusual sources.
For me, this includes restaurants, stores and malls that normally play pop, classical or oldies; any radio station other than a college-run jazz program; commercials; on somebody else's CD player when I don't have prior knowledge that the person enjoys jazz; and guest spots on talk shows.
