there are many Latin artists who are worth listening to, for example Ruben Blades.. he is a legend as far as latin jazz is concerned. then i would suggest you to go for 'Luba Mason' she is wife of Ruben Blades and she is coming up with new album called 'Krazy Love'.... you can listen to a few songs on her Myspace. i seriously waiting for the album.
