The guys were great. Small turnout in a new club (lack of local promotion) but the guys seemed very relaxed, taking it in their stride. Mr. Gilderdale's solos were outstanding. and Mr. Carmichael was impeccable, as always. Sound was goofed up for the first few songs and there were sound technicians from the club crawling around the stage for the first 15 minutes or so of the show. It's a new venue; the Canyon Club just opened a few weeks ago downtown at the Four Queens. The club really doesn't have its act together yet. But it ought to be a great venue after they shake it out.

Those few of us in attendance tonight were treated to a very intimate evening with Acoustic Alchemy. Excellent way to spend a pleasant (90 degree) evening in Las Vegas. But like we say, its a dry heat......

Set list:
No Messin
Say Yeah
The Crossing
Jamaica Heartbeat
Carlos the King
Ariane
Ernie
Angel of the South
Tied up with String
Tuff Puzzle
Lazeez
