About 5 years ago, my wife and I wanted to see A.A./Ottmar Liebert at a winery in Napa country...As usual, I procrastinated too long and was told that the concert was Sold Out....I was bummed, but decided to give it the old college try...we drove to the concert, about an hour and a half away, sans tickets. We had to park about a half a mile away and as we were walking towards the venue, I started asking people--"Do you have any extra tickets?". Within a minute, I had aquired one ticket---Yahoo!! I kept asking as we were walking. The concert would be starting any second and most people were already in their seats. Another person replied No! and then said..."Wait a minute, I do have an extra one". The price of the ticket was 35 bucks-I handed the guy 40 Bucks--big tipper that I am, HA! , thanked him repeatedly and ran towards the concert. We walked in just as the concert was starting. Boy, was I happy! And my wife didn't have to harass me all the way home about not getting tickets. Everything worked out just great. We were also first in line after the concert and got some great pictures with the Lads and the toothless, I mean Ruthless Manager...Hi Stewart!! Thanks for managing such a great band for so many years--you lucky guy! Does anyone else have any exciting concert stories--I know you do! Let's hear 'em....Dave
