My gear isn't as elaborate, but I have a Korg N-5 main board, with a Roland U-220 sound module. I also have an Oberheim OB-3 (Hammond B-3 emulator with drawbars) and a Boss DR-202 groove box/rhythm machine. It worked well for all the live gigging I did (I retired shortly after my daughter was born, with live gigs in the distant future again) but it took me longer to set up than everyone else, even the drummer!
I use everything now with a Yamaha AW-16G at home.

ya know Count, the early Prophet 10s were plagued by instabilties and pitch problems, I bought the the last version in the early 80s, mostly because I was into Howard Jones, and the Human League and such synth driven sounds.

I laugh when I think about buying this synth. I really needed a new car, but opted to put the money into the Prophet. List was pretty high back in the day, and would have bought a new compact car. My family was horrified! I did buy it used, so I wasn't that crazy.

Kat, the P-10 is better than a car!
I saw the Human League in Anaheim this summer, it was awesome. Howard Jones is playing an acoustic show in San Diego in June (no synth)

all you key-people - check out Howard's site at http://www.howardjones.com

Go analog!

I play bass in most of my live stuff, but in the days of yore and in the studio my rig was/is:

Alesis DG-8
Korg Triton Studio 76
Hammond C2 w/leslie 145
Roland VK-8M
Edirol PCR-50
Yamaha PSR-510M MIDI'd to a
Yamaha MU-90

And for the software/recording gear:

Tascam US-122 USB-Audio Interface
Behringer 12-ch mixer
Cakewalk Home Studio 2004

Bass Stuff:

Peavey KB-4 Keyboard Amp (Rock Solid for small to medium bass gigs)
Fender Jazz Bass

's all I need.
