Last week, someone on MagicIsland contacted me about giving me copies of some Pat Metheny albums. I don't like getting stuff illegally, and also like liner notes, so I said no to that, and then he offered me the Wichita album in exchange for something else that I had, which will end up being Greg Vail's E-Motion album. It gave me an idea, so here it is.

Why not use this thread as a CD-trader? Here's how it works. You list the CDs you have that you don't want, and the CDs that you're looking for, and your e-mail address. Anyone else on MagicIsland who wants to trade can e-mail you an offer and work it out from there. Even if there's something out there that someone wants and you see it in a used shop, pick it up and go for a trade. It's a good way to spread the music around.

Hey Mike, it's the holidays and people are busy, so don't take it like no one wants to use this. We all are just busy rushing around like chickens with our heads cut off! After the first of the year, I am going to go through my C.D.'s and list the one's I don't want in here and see what happens....you listed specific stuff you wanted....I want to see what people are willing to trade me for what I have. This may just take off yet, ya know.

Anita, thanks so much for Bright Size Life! It came in today (under a week mailing time to Canada! I was really impressed!!) and it's fantastic. I haven't heard back from the CD store about the two Level 42 albums; they supposedly were shipped to the Waterloo store and are still in transit. I'll let you know when I have them in my posession
