While I am sure some form of actin will be taken and well it should, I hope also that perhaps we learn something else from all of this. That sometimes we might try a little preventive action as well. Steve one of the reasons that OPEC exists is that for years the American oil companies (well you can throw in the British and Dutch as well) did a pretty good job of rapeing middle eastern countires. Pick up a copy of the book "The Seven Sisters" sometime and you can begin to understand some of the hatred. That does not in way excuse what they did, but we must try to understand at times what we have done as well. Who knows maybe the extreamists would have found a way to hate even if we had treated their countrymen differently in decades past, but at times you reap what you sow. Keep in mind that is was not OPEC that sent gas prices shooting upwards this past week, that was good old Americans, looking for a fast buck in time of tragedy. While we do have ememies in the Arab world we also have many friends, let us not lose sight of that.
