Personally I love to have sigs on forums, but it seems like no one is using them here. Why is that? I sorta feel intimidated whenever I want to put my sig up (that's everytime )

So what's the reason?

I personally always forget about it,but I'll use mine this time.

Excuse me for seeming stupid here, but bear with me....sig as in signature? Hell, I use mine all the time, where have you been? You are a newbie, correct? Have you been a LBNPer? Curious, or is this a new name for an established poster? Answers, please! LOL!

Spryroripguy: Why do you keep using that quote from Keiko Matsui on a lot of your posts in the Magic Island BB's? And, you ask why others don't use sigs, well....why don't you?

youngun, a sig is just something that personalizes your character a bit more ie a quote from someone. It doesn't just have to be your name.

Anyway I decided I'm not going to use a sig since no one else does so it seems wierd if only I do it. No matter.

Gee, I guess I'm no one, then! And by the way, most of us here have been here a long time and know one another, that may be why, too!

I love that Keiko Matsui quote..If you ever look on any of the boards in Salon.com almost everyone there has a sig that is the length of a short novel. Of course most of the poeple that post there are in the process of writing long novels. If I had a sig it would be a quote from Joni Mitchell that I found in an interview, its very long and very cool (but I don't have it with me, its at work). I have also used "its not my revolution if I can't dance"/Emma Goldman and "When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro"/Hunter S. Thompson. Now I would probably use "Ho Che Minh my chicken skin"/Serge A. Storms as channeled by Tim Dorsey. So see, it's better that I don't use one!
