I just noticed that Direct TV has all but eliminated the jazz music channels from their selections. Anybody know why? I'm tempted to call and ask. There use to be a "Jazz" format that played Miles, Metheny, Carribean Jazz, Chick Corea, etc. stuff and there was also a "Smooth Jazz" station as well but they are now gone. We are left with the stellar choices of;

R & B Hip Hop
Rap (Uncensored)
Arena Rock
Classic Rock
Hit List
70's
80's
Bluegrass
Today's Country
Big Band & Swing (this is it for jazz?)
Singers & Standards
Classical
Light Classical
