Hey Cab!
yeah, it's not a bad list....I agree with most of the top 25 or so, but being a child of the 70's, it's amazing to me how many of these bands I've either never heard of or at least have never heard (or maybe haven't wanted to hear...).
So, with THAT in mind, I'd say there's some that could move way up the list, and take Cream off the top. I'd move the Allman Brothers, Yes, and King Crimson up the list, and move the Who down a few notches; don't get me wrong, they were great, but not as great as Yes, at least to me. (OK, I'm a yes-head, so shoot me...) Cream was good and revolutionary, but I like Clapton better in his latter years, like Derek & Dominoes.
This may sound like sacrilege, but IMHO you can drop Springsteen down past the Eagles at least. He's not bad, just not my tastes and I only liked the Born to Run album, but then again I've never seen him in concert.
And, where's Boston? And Dave Mason (solo), And Christopher Cross, and Poco, and Passport, and Blue Oyster Cult, Weather Report, I could go on...Dire Straits, Bruce Hornsby, Lyle Lovett...

.ok, so he's not rock but he's got a great rhythm section....
Seriously, it's a good list that has a lot of the better bands in the business on there.
Well, except the Stones...move them down for Mick Jagger, and move the Beatles up for Paul McC....
see, I can always find something to criticize....
Thanks Cab- a good link.
Just don't scroll down too far, it loses it's "family friendliness" about the first f word....and why does who you vote for have anything to do with what you listen to? I don't get it....
