Yuck! I feel sorry for Iverson. I know I know, you can't beat Shaq and Koby, just ask my husband who is from LA, but I was pulling for the 76ers!!

Wonder if it's gonna be M. Jordan against Koby next year! THAT will be awesome!

Yeah congrats. The Lakers really put it together this year. We here in Northern California (at least in this household) were hoping Shaq and Koby would cause an implosion. Obviously, that didn't happen as evidenced by their absolute trouncing of my Kings. Where o' where will C-Webb be next year?

Even for a Purdue fan? We know who the boss is in your family anyway Dave, (that would be....Diana) so I bet there is much more gold/black than cream/crimson in your house... LOL

I am originally from L.A. and used to be a HUGE Lakers fan, but not just because I moved from L.A. am I sick of them.....I wanted the 6ers to win just to have something different! Ho-hum the same teams winning over and over and over again is boring and monotonous! And this from a person who hardly ever watches and gets into sports, so I know my opinion on this means SQUAT!!!!!

Hey Red, I must admit that did actually do some time at a Purdue regional campus, 60 credit hours and racked up 103 at IU so I am really only anti-Purdue when they play IU. We do have some sports fun in the household, Diana is of course the Purdue backer, but she is a Cubs fan and I a Sox fan, she sticks with the Bulls (and to her credit even the past of couple of years) and of course I live and die with every Reggie Miller jump shot. While I was a big Bears fan have been less so since the Colts set up shop in Indy. Diana is an Eagles fan, because somewhere back in the late 70 or early 80's they had a head coach she thought was just too cute. I do not even remember who it was, but he is long gone but she has stuck with team, the lady is loyal....she has put up with my craziness for 28-years. About the only sports team that we seem to agree on is the Irish, we are both big backers of N.D.

Did anybody see this "Shaq" person singing? That was the dumbest,stupidest thing I've ever seen. And that guy dancing,that was just wrong. Not to offend anyone.

Hey Dave: I totally understand that "cuteness quotient" of a team. That is a very important thing to consider. To echo Linda777 on another thread, when Ryne Sandberg retired from the Cubs, I lost all interest.

Can't go wrong with everybody in the household agreeing about the Irish. That Irish luck/blessings from above thing can go a long way.
