The Rippingtons were at the B.B. King Blues
Club on the "New" 42nd Street a couple of months ago and they were fantastic. Russ Freeman gave Paul Taylor his solo performance time and he, as expected, was great. It was such a great venue to see them as usually they appear at the Beacon which is much larger. The B. B. King Blues Club is much more intimate. You really felt you were part of the show.

Paul, when are you going to appear there (or anywhere else in the NYC area) solo!!!

hi greg,
it was a pleasure to perform at the b.b. king blues club with the rippingtons. i'm glad you enjoyed it! did you check out the saxophones they used as beer taps behind the bar? way cool from a horn player's perspective.
keep checking my tour page for show dates. i'm looking forward to the 'undercover 2001' tour to reach nyc!
