HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEYYY Y'ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What's Up Wit'cha????
Now, I saw all of those responses on the site about who will and who won't be at the festival. I also the one about Marcus Miller. I wish I'd known about that one, I woulda gone too (Depending on what time it was)
Anyhoo, those of you that came... y'all know already. Those that couldn't and live in the area...tsk tsk tsk...
Those that just couldn't make it...distance, prior engagements/commitments, y'all missed a goooooooood one!!!
I didn't get to hear the first group...Joyce Cooling was off the charts, and US, well, I don't like to brag, so I won't. But, to quote some other people who were either volunteers, or park workers that day... "No one really started partying until you guys started to play"... "People were content to sit and enjoy the show, until Paul Taylor started playing!!!"
"I've never seen anything like it out here in this park all year!!!" "These people don't just get up and dance for no reason!!!" "KT. You're the grestest!!! (That's my own... kidding!!!)
No. you really missed a great show. This is the firsr time we've played together since Tampa/ Jacksonville earlier this year, and we were FANTASTIC!!! (If I must say so myself...) The people were into it, the music flowed as if we've been doing it all year, and the Weather- AWESOME!!!!! Not a cloud in the sky, and just enough breeze to enjoy it without holding your napkin in place I only had to take off my glasses Once to wipe my brow. Those of you who've seen me play, know that I do it at least 4 or 5 times, because the sweat from the funk that we do, rolls all down my face into my eyes an' stuff... And best of all, the people were REALLT into it, and had a great time. When I came up to do some new stuff I had incorporated into the set, they were all for it. And the sing-along on Always There went well too. And of course, Bonny B got'em all worked up with his solo on "Comb" Over (That's what I call Come Over) jus a lil' jokey-joke!!! I let pam take a few pics with my camera, but she was intimidated by the technicalaties of it...(Kidding, Pam), but this automatically made her the Band Expert of the group. People started asking her all sorts of questions about us and e'rythang... It was cool...
Well, I got ta go. It's hot in this house, and supposedly very nice outside, so, dat's whereI'm is bout ta go... I'll see y'all soon (Hopefully) PEACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! K.T.

Ohhhh, This is so weird. KT we must have been posting at the same time. Yes, you're right I kept saying I am not an agent. Nah, I am just kidding.
But people in the audience were loving you guys and it's true the party didn't start until you guys came to the stage. I mean Joyce, Indigo they held their own, you guys took the show, and grant it Marcus Miller is and all but no doubt in my mind where I was going to be that sunday afternoon.
I have to fly to the west coast to get my PT cruiser groove on, when it's been a while so, I don't miss a chance when you guys are on the east. You are so right I forgot to mention in my post you guys played Ronnie's "Always There" You close with that tune, see psychological block out, for not wanting the show to end.
Yes, you're right the audience was all the buzz about you guys. Nope, that's the truth you guys ROCKED!!!
I do believe get ready for this one, y'all, you all, y'awls, all of you, really out did yous selves sunday. Y'alls came down with the throw down. It was all the way live.
I am just getting sound back in my left ear, I was right on it and it was sounding gooddddddddddd uhm, like sitting on a Ritz cracker.
No, joke, I didn't know if I took a picture or not with that high tech. camera of yours.
I was like, dahhhhh, I think I got it. You just don't know I was over there praying with every take. (Dang, hope he didn't want that one) And thanks for the crash course on operating it now I got. I know what to look for they are
Chip and I love our 35mm. I have to branch out and keep myself up on the tech. stuff just have knowledge of it if nothing else.

Ok, got to go hit the books final coming up. Talk to ya' \:\) Pam

KT's the expert with that, but we did get the camera to turn on at least, but i couldn't remember where that zoom buttom was!
