Could you help me by telling me how to connect my Akai EWI1000 and EWV2000 sound module to a Casio 61 key keyboard? I tried MIDI cables, but it didn't work.

i'm not familiar with your model ewi, but
i would try the midi process again. have both instructions manuals handy, too.

-connect the ewi into the proper input of the akai sound module.

-midi out of the akai sound module into your casio kybrd.

-make sure they both are on the same midi channel (usually it should work now).

-go through each midi parameter on both instruments until you get a sound.

Unfortunately, I lost the fat plug for my headphone to plug into the module because it's too loud on the amp. I'll try the channel thing, thank you.
