shooting for a 1st quarter '05 release. YES!!! When I read this news, just imagine me @ my desk screaming w/my hands waiving in the air As for a title, I'll have to think about it for a minute. I know you stated that u couldn't be specific but is the music funky, laid back, free-spirited? BTW, Paul it's good to hear from u, I'm always appreciative of your post. You definitely treat your fans well Best Regards L

any suggestions on a title? Paul... So glad to hear new music is on the way!!!! I'll be tapping into my creative side, playing with some ideas too. Are you at liberty to share what is inspiring you with the content of the music or melodies for this upcoming CD in the works? I can birth a title for sure if I can see the core or the heart of something. Peace... MissyAnn

hey gang! i knew new music was in the works but couldn't say much . so now that paul has offically got the word out, i get to burst out my own emotions here too. ALRIGHT!!!! YIPPPPIE!!!!!!! i was checking out all the titles which all sound very cool. but the one that triggered my thoughts the most was when mandi said something about paul's "saxy appeal". so my title choice would be: "sax appeal". i'm not sure if another artist has this title out, but i sure do like it. i have to think of some other titles as well. this also reminds me of when the "hynotic" cd came out and i created a game called "hynotic hot". all the players on the bbs had to guess what the title of the new tracks would be. paul played along and would give little hints. i never got close!!! paul gave out copies of the hynotic cd to all the winners. it was a lot of fun, anticipation and excitement!!! if you guys would like to try it for this new cd, let me know. i would love to hear from the hynotic hot cd winners with their input!!! paul, let me know it you're interested in the game again too. chandra

Hey Everybody, Hope all is going well with everyone. I am really enjoying the song titles, so beautiful and fun, full of imagination. Paul, I read you are working on new music, that's awesome, can't wait. I was wondering if there are plans to release any more songs from the "Steppin Out" CD? I would really love to hear Enchanted Garden and/or Speakeasy on the radio. T

Hello Paul. I'm very happy to hear of new music coming. Thank you Ars for the prompting topic. And as always, "Hey Chandra ". How's my west coast sis? Paul; as far as suggestions, I found something in your discography comments about Hypnotic that struck me. In part you said, "I'm living my dreams...". Something many never do. However, some may believe your music has them "Listening to a dream" (I'm referring to sleep ladies! ) Peace Billy G

Hi Paul, Great title, NightLife is going to be a great CD. I can't wait to hear your smooth melodies of NightLife with that remix of old funky jazz flavor, now that true night life. Dino Esposito is he working with you on this CD, twist of pop. Guess I just have to wait. (See you in Sarasota next month) Peace Janet

(See you in Sarasota next month) Janet, Oh, so you are going?...cool!!!! I was talking to one of my cousins in Tampa to make sure they were all ok after the hurricanes and I heard Sarasota is not very far from Tampa Bay. Hey...looks like you are going to experience a PT Tour sooner than you thought, huh? All I've got to say is....Get ready, get ready, get ready for a blast of a time!!!!!!!!! Will you have your camera on hand? Boy, those thrills are surfacing again thinking about it...calm down Missy. Why in the world do I get so worked up about this? Of course, I know why though... Goodness, gracious... Keep us posted, ok? 'Night Life' is a good title that must have been inspired by some body-moving grooves. Believe me, I did not have any inside information when I put my list of names out. FYI, Mad Scientist is formerly Ars! Diane, the lady who runs this site, removed my ability to post as the 'Ars' character on this board?
I wasn't going to ever post at this site again but it's hard to beat an addiction. I thank the lady for helping me cure my addiction and need to respond to stupid remarks. I have more time to actually work. However, my addiction to Paul Taylor's music is one I prefer to keep and look forward to the next fix of new PT music.
Please e-mail arsgratisars2004@yahoo.com for further inquiry.

Hello Janet, I know you will have a great time in Sarasota at the concert and visiting your son. It's just a week or so away. Is it an all Paul Taylor Concert or G4G? Either way, it will be great. Have a ball!! I'll be awaiting your review as well. Have a safe trip! Hello MissyAnn, Mad Scientist, Chandra, MsDigital, Pam, Saxymandi, Michelle T, Jazzylady, Shiff, and Paul. I know what you mean Mad Scientist, since I've started posting here, I've become a little addicted too. But hey, we all definitely have something in common, so it's nice to be in good company. Ms Digital, I hear ya.....I can already feel a PT groove for "Nightlife" too. Take care everybody, T

Here's an interesting interview with Rex Rideout: JazzUSA.Com - August 2004 Interview. I think Rex kind of let some buzz get out that he had a fun filled two and a half days of songwriting with Paul Taylor. At the time of the interview (August), he and Paul Taylor had written six tunes together but they had yet to get Peak's ear on them. I think Rex Rideout and Paul Taylor are two guys who know how to craft smooth jazz hits so you better believe those songs are going to be on 'Nitelife'. I was feeling their chemistry on "Steppin' Out"! I can't wait to find out who else is on it. How can I get an advanced copy without breaking into Andi Howard's office?

Hi Cruisers, Yes, I like that title "NightLife" I am always ready for some new PT sounds. Sorry, I didn't get to post my new PT cd title, still I don't think I would've come up with "NightLife. On the release date I will be there to pick up my two or three cds. You know PT cds make great gifts. I give them for every occasion. Christmas gifts, stocking stuffers, Birthdays, you name it. It's a great way to introduce others to PT music. I buy one to sign, one to play, my husband will buy one for his car. I am telling you I played a PT cd so much, let's just say what I learned from that experience is to buy two to three PT cds at once and if you have a relative that come by to check your cd collection out and say; "oooooooooh, can I borrow this or that cd?" The answer to that question always is, "No, my brother/sister you have to get your own." But that's the person to buy the cd for surely they will buy the next one and the next one and you get the picture. Later Pam
