Hey Everyone in PT Land!!!
I can't stop listening to LAA!
I think it's way better than LILA!
I was very pleased to see that PT is so
heavily featured on the majority of the
tracks.
Even though Eric M is wonderful, there's just something magical about PT's playing and the groove he sets into any track.
Can't wait to see PT back in SOCAL.
Hope everyone has a Happy Easter!

PS. Hi Chandra!!I have missed you! I have been sooooooo busy covering the Danielle Van Dam story here in San Diego. I've not only been reporting on it locally, but I've also been appearing on CNN and Court TV as well.
So, the last month has been wild!
I hope all is well with you and your special little one. Mine is doing well and got accepted into an advanced program.
Have an awesome holiday!!

heard a bit of summer lovers too. didn't know whether to stay seated or dance around my computer chair. i was feeling better, lots better. shoot, way cool better! i went from this to this in a split second. just hearing that live ripps sound took me back again. now i'm hyped and can't wait to see another show. and to top it off, gwenn is sending me my own cd just because. what a sweetie. thanks gwenn for making my day . you're such a good friend. i needed that. can't wait to get it so i can hear the live version of "Rain", with bill heller on key and paul on sax. one of my favs!

all i have to say is, if you are fortunate enough to catch paul or the ripps perform live, don't wait, just go!

Hi Chandra,
True that,to everything you said. LAA CD it's awesome, I love it all. My favs are Summer Lovers of course, Rain, and Jewel Thieves. I plane to catch the PT/Rip experience once again at Bull Run this year. (I pray, there's no tour date changes or anything) I have to get my jazz groove on. Take Care Pam

HEY TVNEWSMAN!
so good hearing from you. had no idea you would write so soon! thought i had lost ya for a moment there.

well, paul is set with the ripps again. this is exciting because i haven't seen paul perform with the ripps in a few years and now that LAA is released it's even more exciting. i know work is up to your collar. such a sad, sad story. really hope you can get away from it all and refresh for a moment. get back to some normalcy. i know you desparetly need this and a concert with paul and the ripps can do just that. i was at the smooth jazz awards in March and i thought about ya. we have a lot of catching up to do! if you're planning on hitting some of the shows (either CA or NV) let me know so we can plan an event. so glad to hear my little man is doing well! my cue cards really helped huh? please give him a BIG hug from me. my little one is ill with an ear infection so i'm tending to him, but overall he's doing ok. he's a tuffy. doesn't LAA bring back a lot of good times.
miss and luv ya!

I'm with you, Chandra. I like Eric's work on Rain, too. And it was the work Paul did on Topaz that got me into Paul's work to begin with! Still, for me, nothing tops Looking Glass.

i have to agree the "live" version is awesome and yes brings back so many memories. just like being there. skipped tracks to hear my fav "rain", but eric was playing the sax part. i love erics version and i know i'm gonna get in trouble for this, but paul just brings a different tone to that tune. love ya eric! that cd definately changes your mood and uplifts you. i was up late last night washing dishes and was able to finish in no time .

i think it was really cool for russ to dedicate the cd to fans across america. i appreciate that so much because i really love the the music and the guys behind it all. the cd does bring a smile to your face . russ is really awesome on that guitar!!

hey paul, man you were jam'n and sound soo great on and the crowd just loved ya! way cool! i hear gwenn screaming in the background .
