HA! Mary, I had to laugh at that one....thanks, I needed that.
Daum, these guys are smokin.
Not that all of it's my taste (just don't dig rap at all, but that's personal taste) but most of the tunes are just great smoking jams. Good horns, bass player that kicks tail, gotta love that offbeat drummer too. Even the electronic effects are cool, well done and obviously not so much programming as live triggering and mixing it in with the live group. Reminds me of Brecker too, and TOP in spots.
I hope they do well at this, cause they've got something here. Very tight.
Fresh, modern, eclectic, all those words....watched some of the vids on the homepage, they are good too- not the best sound quality on a couple of them, but Point G is well worth the 7 or 8 minutes that it lasts.
Oh yeah- great vocalist too. She's got some pipes.
Nothing snooze about these guys.
