Absolutely right, Paul.
So many times my musical tastes have been questioned by people who feel that music has to have words.
Not only jazz, but also classical (except for stuff they hear in commercials and cartoons and the various themes from the first two "Star Wars" movies) get knocked because people aren't singing.
Wonder how they'd react to opera.
