Was visiting the Spyro Gyra guestbook the other day, and a poster hinted that he'd learned in talking with the band after the gig that the best kept secret in jazz(TOM SCHUMAN) may be releasing a side project in the near future.
I'd snatch that puppy up the day of release. I'd first heard whispers of a possible Tom Schuman side project way back in 1998 after the bands gig at the Coach House in San Juan Capistrano. That is also when I learned about Jay Beckenstein side project and the fact that the band was moving ovewr to Windham Hill Jazz.
Anyone out there have any more info?
Projected release date?
Muscicians involved??

Peace!
Paul

That would be great news if true. I still listen to Tom's "Extremeties" regularly and like every track on this CD.

Tom Schuman is one of those under-rated musicians that deserves more recognition.
