I am honored to be the first one to post in this forum for the World's Greatest Jazz Band. I am looking forward to Spyro Gyra's new release--the bands first on it's new label, Windham Hill Jazz. As ever, it promises to be different from the last studio record. I am also looking forward to the broadcast of the Spyro Gyra PBS Special...though I understand it won't be available nationally until at least April or May. I am also looking forward to tour dates in Southern California. The band has never let me down live, and the bands rep as being the band who's live performances everyone else is compared to is indeed deserved. As great as the studio recordings are, the band is three times better LIVE! I would appreciate other posters lists of their top ten Spyro Gyra compositions...live or studio. Thanks! Peace! Paul.

Hi Paul. This looks like a great board. Will be interesting to see what kind of threads/responses are posted here.
