Been in contact with Scott and he informed me that he will be playing bass with Chuck Loeb tomorrow night at Ramshead. Sorry for the late notice. If you can come out it will be a great show. Seating is available for both performances.

Even greater news, I made arrangements to have Scott perform at my workplace at our 19th Annual Black History Observance. My fellow federal counterparts are beaming. I've been trying to bring him in to perform for awhile and its finally going to happen.

Frankly I don't see how any of this helps me at all.

Northeast Ohio is apparently an SG-free zone. An outpost, if you will. Legend has it that back in the day when they were just getting started they were here all the time, but no more. It's been at least 3 years, if not 4 since they've been to this area. Some of you may remember the last time I saw them was in Akron when Scott and I discussed at length the condition of his treble pot. I think that was 3 years ago, but it may have been 10 for all I know.

At any rate, I have seen my last SG performance - I am convinced of it. Despair sets in.

Oh, but I'm happy for you Lawrence.

Rob, I wonder if this is a regional "thing"? S-G hasn't really set foot in Indianapolis for several years ... I "think" their last time through was at the 2000 Indy Jazz Fest if my memory serves me correctly. Its a shame too ... I'd really like the chance to see them, but unless they get to Indy or even somewhere like Dayton, there's not much chance. Seems odd to me given that Indy's a regular stop for whenever the Rippingtons are passing through.
