Guys , I don't now about you but i think that Jeremy deserves our respect.
He co-founded this band that we all love and also has written a lot of our favorites.
Even though he's not playing on their records, Jeremy adds that world beat sound with his compositions.
I believe he makes a GREAT combination with jay and the guys.

Adios.
Eril.

I agree Eril!

Wall has written some of my favorite pieces over the years (love "4MD" on "Fast Forward.") and I recently acquired Jeremy's two solo releases on Amherst Records, "Cool Running" and "Steppin' Into the New World."

Both are credible efforts with Wall featured on keyboards with the likes of Grant Geissman on guitar and Lew Soloff on trumpet.

Phil,

It's interesting that Grant Geissman is on Jeremy's record. I just saw him in August...he was in Chuck Mangione's group when they warmed up for Spyro Gyra at Humphrey's in San Diego. Grant made up for his lack of stage presence with some great guitar work. He was pretty diverse.

As for Jeremy Wall's Spyro compositions...well, ya gotta love "Breakout"..."Joyride" is an outstanding composition as well. "Shakedown" was up for a Grammy back in 1985(or was it the entire record?).
I'll be back with some others later.

Peace!
Paul

Shakedown, Breakout and didn't he also pen No Man's Land?
