Well it finally happened, the Scott Ambush Group played at our Black History Special Observance program at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission last Thursday and it was slammin! I got to introduce Scott and his group and the rest was a day all who attended will never forget. He and the group laid down some smooth jazz that got everyone up and jumpin. One of the highlights was Scott's rendition of Marcus Miller's Maputo, the solo he did was just awesome. He soloed on every song and was making some serious statements on the bass and the crowd loved it. For those who are local to the DC area, Scott brought along Marshall Keys on sax, Dan Reynalds on keys and John Thomakos on drums. And a good time was had by all!
