Okay, this is probably a long shot, but here goes anyways. I was at the Spyro Gyra show in Oakland last Friday.

The introduced a terrific song written by Julio Fernandez. This song was about him growing up in Cuba and his move to the states. Any chance anyone knows the title of that song? I'd like to get the album that it is on.

All help is greatly appreciated!!

I think you may be referring to "Pipo's Song" found on Three Wishes and Very Best of Spyro Gyra

Just got an email back from Spyro Gyra. The song I was looking for is "The Crossing" off of their new album "The Deep End"

Thank you very much!!

I was going to guess that! And I would highly recommend that you get "The Deep End". It is one of their best!

Yeah, awesome tune. For the record, Pipo's song is a tribute to Julio's father.
