I had actually posted a thread about this, but I was thinking that maybe you would get back to me this way.

My question is
What is the time signature for SG's song 'Conversations'?

Eril probably can give a better answer, but I believe it's 4/4 with lots of triplets.

I would take a guess and say that's in 4/4(Pending on how the tune is charted), the first line Jay plays starts the conversation(4 bars), Dave Samuels replies(4 bars), Jay(4 bars), Dave(4 bars), then swing section comes in and Dave and Jay take rides for 16 bars each, and, it goes into cut time and Jay and dave ride 16 bars each. If I remember, there's a section that sets up the drum solo(Steve Gadd), and afterwards they go back to the head, coda, and out(I could be wrong).
