Last night i was cleaning and organizing all my vinyl lp's , and i found one that's very interesting. There is a lady named Soledad Bravo that sings "Nueva Trova" music. This music is very patriotic and it's about the country and the people from it. She's from argentine. But , What's interesting about that lp is that back in '83 she recorded that album at beartracks using SG as her band. I totally forgot i had that LP. They (of course) sound awsome , but when you add her voice in spanish , boy.... it's a very good mixture. Also I found a christian music album from 1987 that features Richie Morales , Oscar Cartaya , Julio Fernández and Manolo Badrena. That's also another one i forgot i had.

Happy Y2K!!!
Eril.

I remember about a year or so after that getting a card from SG stating that Julio was leaving to pursue a singing career. I am aware that Tom has cut some solo albums and I have three by Dave, but to this day I haven't seen or heard of any of Julio's solo recordings. Please, someone, bring me up to date. Also, I'm interested in that Christian recording: what's its title?

As far as I know Julio has never had a solo album or left the band to start a career as a singer. I asked him about a solo album after a concert in June and he said he has enough material it's just that he has know one to produce it.
